Plenty to see and do, whatever the weather
Field House Cottage self-catering Peak District accommodation is situated next to Hen Cloud and The Roaches, between the bustling market town of Leek in Staffordshire and Buxton, the Derbyshire spa town.
The Roaches form the south-western tip of the Pennines. This dramatic rocky ridge offers some of the best gritstone climbing in the UK and walkers and fell/trail runners can enjoy great routes across the area direct from the cottage including the path across The Roaches to the legendary Lud's Church, a deep and mysterious chasm. Artists and photographers will be inspired by the stunning scenery - the views from Hen Cloud, The Roaches and nearby Ramshaw Rocks are spectacular, particularly at sunrise and sunset.
